By | 20 avril 2022

The International Association for Conflict Management (IACM) has recently announced that Professor Jimena Ramirez Marin, professor at IÉSEG and a member of ICON, will be the next editor of the association’s journal, Negotiation and Conflict Management Research (NCMR*). Her term as Editor-in-Chief of NCMR begins in August 2022.

The IACM noted that she is an “active and globally connected member within the IACM community, with an established reputation for programmatic research on how culture and relationships influence negotiation and conflict management”. They also highlight three of her publications in NCMR, a 2021 meta-analysis of cultural influences on negotiation strategy, a 2019 review of the influence of cultural norms on negotiation, conflict management, and communication, and a 2018 empirical research article examining how communal and exchange norms influence negotiators’ expectations. She has also published her research in a number of other leading journals.

Professor Ramirez is also an Academic Director at IÉSEG (for a postgraduate program dedicated to international business) and teaches courses on negotiation and conflict management to master and MBA students at the School.
